How to send an HTML email or webpage from Outlook 2003 / 2007

Sending a webpage as an email is not something that you would do everyday, but there are times when you might want to send a web page as an HTML email rather than an attachment. Outlook 2003 / 2007 facilitates this through it’s Web toolbar. The steps below outline the process:

Step 1
Enable the web Toolbar by going to View > Toolbars > Web and checking it

Step 2
Type in the URL of the webpage to be sent in the Web Search box

Step 3
Enable Outlook to send HTML emails by going to Tools > Options > Click on the Mail Format tab > Select “HTML” in the Compose in this message format dropdown box > Click OK

Send the web page as email by going to Actions > Send Web Page by Email
